Il mondo dei tower defense è stato sempre un genere di nicchia, relegato a una cerchia di videogiocatori molto ristretta. Uno dei titoli che negli anni ha raggiunto una posizione di spicco in questo mercato è stato senza dubbio Orcs Must Die!, creato da Robot Entertainment. La vera novità introdotta dalla serie, nonché segreto del suo successo, è stata l’idea degli sviluppatori di dare un’impronta più action al genere. A distanza di cinque anni dal primo capitolo, e dopo diversi anni di alpha e beta, ecco che sbarca in versione definitiva su PlayStation 4 Orcs Must Die! Unchained.
