Qualche settimana fa vi demmo un assaggio di quelli che sarebbero stati i PlayStation Bit Awards 2014 (non ve li aspettavate così grandi, eh?) chiedendovi quale categoria avreste voluto vedere tra le nomination. Le idee che ci avete mandato ci sono piaciute tutte ma una in particolare ci è sembrata la migliore.
Il gaming moderno si basa tutto sul marketing: frustranti pubblicità, spesso, fanno la differenza tra la vittoria o la sconfitta al botteghino di un particolare gioco. Buona parte di queste pubblicità sono costituite dai trailer. Spettacolari ed esaltanti, alcuni di quelli usciti nello scorso anno sono stati in grado di far salire paurosamente l’hype per un titolo che, magari, ancora oggi attendiamo. Quale tra questi è il migliore?
Annunciato un po’ a sorpresa con questo spettacolare trailer, il Silent Hills di Kojima, del Toro ed interpretato da Norman Reedus è uno dei titoli più attesi che, però, chissà quando arriverà sulle nostre console. Per ora, non possiamo far altro che consolarci con il trailer e il misterioso P.T.

Un altro titolo che in milioni attendono è Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain e, beh, a giudicare da questo fantastico trailer diciamo che il maestro Hideo Kojima sa come far crescere le aspettative attorno ai suoi titoli. Semplicemente da brividi!

Ubisoft, si sa, con i trailer ci sa fare davvero molto. Questo che riportiamo è uno dei tanti pubblicati per la campagna marketing di Assassin’s Creed Unity in cui venne presentata per la prima volta la bella e misteriosa Élise, personaggio fondamentale all’intero della trama del titolo. Musiche e video, come standard per Ubisoft, si conciliano a perfezione tra loro…

Il secondo capitolo della saga di Dead Island abbandona le classiche atmosfere seriose per un ritmo più scanzonato e “caciarone”. Tutto ciò si evince già dal trailer di presentazione del titolo mostrato allo scorso E3 dove la canzone “The Bomb” del mitico Pigeon John accompagna la trasformazione di un insolente palestrato in una sua forma più consona… Guardare per credere!

Rockstar ha realizzato un’impresa: riuscire a far registrare due volte record di vendite clamorosi per lo stesso titolo. Impresa riuscita probabilmente grazie alla grande mossa della software house consistente nell’inserire in aggiunta al titolo originale la spettacolare ed inedita visuale in prima persona. Anche se si vociferava da un po’, all’annuncio dello sbarco next-gen del titolo all’E3 2014 si scatenò il delirio grazie al fantastico trailer che segue!

Il 2014 è stato un buon anno per il mercato videoludico. Come saprete ben, però, costante nell’industri del nostro media preferito è diventata ormai la “politica dei rimandi”. Così, tantissimi titoli precedentemente annunciati in uscita per l’anno appena trascorso sono slittati al 2015. Risultato? Facile intuirlo: il nuovo anno è pieno zeppo di titoloni attesissimi. Fateci sapere quale tra questi attendete con maggior ansia (notare che non abbiamo inserito titoli la cui data di uscita potrebbe sforare il 2015, nominando solo quelli che, seppur senza una data ufficiale, salvo incredibili imprevisti, vedremo sicuramente arrivare entro i prossimi 12 mesi)! (Comunicazione di servizio: il nostro editor-in-chief Dario è esonerato da questo voto. Già sappiamo cosa voterai…).
La terza avventura dello Strigo Geralt di Rivia di preannuncia la più grande mai creata. CD Project RED sta impegnando tutte le proprie risorse per dare vita, a detta loro, al “più grande GdR mai creato”. Enorme, zeppo di cose da fare e curato nei minimi dettagli, l’opera omnia della software house polacca riuscirà a sostenere le enormi aspettative? I presupposti ci sono tutti!
Ambientato in una New York devastata da una terribile epidemia, The Division, nuova IP Ubisoft, è uno strano ibrido tra MMO, gioco di ruolo e sparatutto in terza persona. The Division è sicuramente uno dei titoli più attesi del 2015 ed anche uno dei più promettenti per rinnovare il mondo dei tripla A. Dovendo sostenere l’eredità del compianto Tom Clancy, speriamo solo che la software house non rinunci, per chissà quali motivi di marketing, a trovate di gameplay interessanti e particolari.
L’ultima avventura del Cavaliere Oscuro nella pluripremiato saga Arkham sarà la più grande e il nostro eroe dovrà affrontare la minaccia peggiore di sempre per salvare ancora una volta Gotham. Stavolta, però, avrà un alleato particolare al proprio fianco: Rocksteady, infatti, sta lavorando duramente per offrire al giocatore un totale controllo sulla devastante Batmobile. Cosa ne uscirà?
Dopo le vicende narrate in Ground Zeroes, non ci resta che attendere l’uscita di Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain per conoscere cosa accadrà nell’ultima (?) avventura della decennale saga di Kojima e il suo team. Milioni i fan che, ancora oggi, attendono, la data di uscita ufficiale, per sapere quando barricarsi in casa e godersi quello che, con ogni probabilità, sarà uno di quei capolavori che segneranno per sempre la storia dei videogiochi.
Da fan delle console Sony, non poteva mancare in questa categoria la nuova avventura del cacciatore di trofei Nathan Drake, amatissimo protagonista di Uncharted, una delle saghe di maggior successo arrivate negli ultimi anni su console. Naughty Dog ha rivelato davvero pochissimo sul gioco, promettendo che quello che hanno imparato con The Last of Us darà i suoi frutti nello sviluppo di quest’avventura. Cosa dobbiamo aspettarci?
Dalla collaborazione tra Sony e From Software, creatori della serie “Souls”, nasce Bloodborne, ennesima esclusiva PlayStation 4 in arrivo nei prossimi mesi. Con ambientazioni ancora più cupe e la classica elevata difficoltà che ha reso celebre il team e le sue opere, Bloodborne è una delle avventure più promettenti che solo i fieri possessori di console Sony potranno giocare!

Come molti han già fatto, mi unisco ai complimenti per l’ottimo lavoro svolto per questa sessione di PlayStation Bit Awards, che sono veramente realizzati alla grande sia graficamente che per quanto concerne i contenuti. Ci voleva solo un po’ più di Isaac per essere veramente perfetti, ma tant’è, ci si accontenta 😛
Se Far Cry batte Wolfenstein nella categoria FPS siamo delle persone brutte. Stefano, visto che so più o meno per certo a differenza degli altri che non hai giocato né uno ne l’altro, vota Wolfenstein, va, chettefrega tanto! ahahah ;D
