Attraverso un Tweet 2K ha annunciato ufficialmente Mafia 3. Nel breve comunicato si legge che il 5 agosto alle ore 14:00 verrà lanciato il primo trailer del gioco in anteprima mondiale, inoltre durante la GamesCom il titolo verrà mostrato alla stampa in un evento a porte chiuse.
