La compagnia coreana XINESS Co., Ltd., ancora abbastanza anonima nel mondo videoludico, ci propone Plutobi: The Dwarf Planet Tales, un gioco di genere action in giocatore singolo.
Come già preannuncia il nome stesso del gioco, Plutobi: The Dwarf Planet Tales narra, appunto, la storia di Plutone, soprannominato Plutobi dal Sole e compagni al fine di prendere in giro la sua massa nettamente inferiore rispetto a quella degli altri pianeti. Nel 2006 Plutone è stato espulso dall’elenco dei pianeti del Sistema Solare per via del suo essere piccolo e debole, venendo così considerato a tutti gli effetti un pianeta nano. Accecato dalla rabbia, Plutobi deciderà di vendicarsi di tutti gli altri pianeti, sconfiggendoli uno a uno, insieme alle loro lune e ai mega asteroidi.
Se un pianeta ti fa un dispetto, fagli vedere chi comanda e poi fallo in mille pezzi. Plutobi: The Dwarf Planet Tales ha una trama abbastanza banale, che dà però una motivazione assurdamente divertente alle nostre azioni.

Tiny Planet
Clear Mercury Stage. It's the closest planet to the Sun and also the smallest planet in the Solar System.

Red Planet
Clear Mars Stage. It is well-known for its color.

Shepherd's Star
Clear Venus Stage. Although not a star, Venus was a good guide for the shepherds.

Cradle of Lifeform
Clear Earth Stage. It is the only and unique planet that supports lifeform in the Solar System.

No Sea on Surface
Clear Neptune Stage. It was named after the god of sea, even though it has no sea.

Ice Giant
Clear Uranus Stage. There are two known ice giants in the Solar System, Uranus and Neptune.

Ring a Ring
Clear Saturn Stage. It is famous for the ring, even though it is not the only planet to have a ring.

Star under the Ground
Collect 60 gemstones. How nice would it be to have any gemstone from the list.

Beginner Astronomer
Encounter and defeat any 5 planets, moons and mega asteroids. Hey that's just the beginning!

Nothing Special
Clear any stage with 150 or more Great's. This is nothing special.

Dinosaur Extinction
Clear any stage with 100 or more Crash's. Although it is still a theory, there is reasonable evidence that the dinosaurs were made extinct by asteroids.

Tank!
Clear any stage with 50 or more Resist's. Hey tough guy!




Not Quicksilver
Score 700,000 points or more in Mercury Stage. This is only a tutorial but it's not that easy, right?

Likelihood of Lifeform
Score 700,000 points or more in Mars Stage. It is most similar to Earth, but cannot support lifeform.

Greenhouse Effect
Score 800,000 points or more in Venus Stage. It has an extremely fierce atmosphere, caused by the greenhouse effect.

Debris Yard
Score 1,000,000 points or more in Earth Stage. Well, Earth has the most number of space debris. Stop littering.

Frozen
Score 700,000 points or more in Neptune Stage. If planets were this far from the Sun, no planet would be hot.

Lie Down
Score 800,000 points or more in Uranus Stage. It has an axial tilt of 97.77'.

Not a Console
Score 900,000 points or more in Saturn Stage. Sometimes I miss that console.

King of all the Planets.
Clear Jupiter Stage. This is the largest planet in the Solar System.

I'm on Fire.
Clear Sun Stage. It's the only burning celestial body in the Solar System.

Twinkle Twinkle Little GEM!
Collect 80 gemstones. What similarities are there with the stars?

Skilled Astronomer
Encounter and defeat any 30 planets, moons and mega asteroids. Not a small number, but still that's not enough.

Trickster!
Clear any stage with 100 or more Perfect's. Quite busy hitting the buttons, huh?

Score 7,777,777 points or more in Total. If you achieve this, you are good enough to try another game.




Slightly Larger
Score 600,000 points or more in Jupiter Stage. If Jupiter was slightly larger, it could have been a star.

Score 1,000,000 points or more in Sun Stage. It has 99.8% of the mass in the Solar System.
