Informazioni Generali

Escludendo i, seppur ottimi, capitoli spin-off di questa saga, la storia canonica di Ys era ferma dal lontano 2009 con il suo settimo capitolo principale, Ys Seven. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA si è fatto attendere per più di sette anni, approdando l’anno scorso su PlayStation Vita e solo quest’anno sull’ultima console casalinga di casa Sony. Ys è da sempre stata una serie valida, tuttavia la scelta di Nihon Falcom di confinare la saga al territorio nipponico l’ha esclusa dalla lotta con un degno avversario qual è Final Fantasy.
