Con la rimozione del region lock i titoli di stampo esclusivamente giapponese sono riusciti a crearsi una loro personalissima fetta di pubblico, e se alla maggioranza di questi possono sembrare titoli molto trash, andando a scoprirli notiamo quanto questo sia sbagliato.
Quello che ha portato al successo questo genere di titoli però è una particolarità che sostanzialmente attira molto di più il genere maschile, combinando sparatorie o arti marziali con delle bellissime ragazze che il più delle volte finiscono per lottare in intimo. Il capostipite del genere è sicuramente la saga di Senran Kagura, divenuta ormai di enorme successo in tutto il mondo; quest’oggi però vi parleremo di School Girl/Zombie Hunter, titolo che riesce a mixare elementi sparatutto a tema apocalittico con delle belle ragazze pronte a sopravvivere a qualsiasi avversità.
