Grazie all’interattività, il videogioco diviene un mezzo prezioso per la condivisione di un messaggio e per immergersi in storie fantastiche o anche realistiche. Giochi come A Plague Tale: Innocence dimostrano come trame emozionanti e ambientazioni storiche possano unirsi armoniosamente, in un racconto dove siamo spettatori di una scenografia che possiamo leggere sui libri di storia. Soffermandoci ancora in un lontano passato, sfumato però dai suoi contorni concreti, Heaven’s Vault permette di partecipare attivamente alla scrittura di un manuale accademico e così il videogioco si presenta come un tramite e uno strumento dinamico.
