Come ormai tutti sappiamo, l’emergenza sanitaria dettata dal Covid-19 è riuscita a mettere in ginocchio gran parte dell’economia mondiale, compreso il nostro amato settore videoludico. I mancati annunci e i continui ritardi non hanno fatto altro che scombussolare i piani di molti videogiocatori, soprattutto se amanti dei titoli Made in Japan. Per colpa infatti delle proprie abitudini lavorative, gran parte delle software house nipponiche ha dovuto bloccare completamente le produzioni per diversi mesi causando uno slittamento di molte uscite o, nel caso di prodotti già completi, di release di videogiochi pieni di problematiche, come avvenuto per l’ultimo Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris. I ragazzi di Idea Factory e Compile Heart hanno voluto però fare la voce fuori dal coro e hanno deciso di rilasciare comunque la loro ultima fatica.
