Non conosce fine il successo di Grand Theft Auto V, che forse (ma forse) inizierà il suo declino solo dopo l’uscita del nuovo titolo Rockstar Games, quel Red Dead Redemption 2 che stravolgerà il mercato a fine ottobre. Per il momento, comunque, GTA V si piazza al comando delle classifiche di vendita europee del PlayStation Store anche per il mese di agosto, seguito da Gang Beasts e da Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege. Tengono bene le esclusive Horizon Zero Dawn e God of War, mentre si inseriscono nella top 20 anche i recenti Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 e F1 2018.
