Al momento dell’uscita del primo The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, in pochi si sarebbero aspettati un’accoglienza tanto calorosa, probabilmente neanche gli stessi NeocoreGames. Questo hack ‘n’ slash dall’ispirazione molto amarcord ha invece saputo attirare l’attenzione di tutti quei videogiocatori che si sono sentiti traditi da un Diablo III fin troppo commerciale e sentivano il bisogno di giocare a qualcosa di più classico. Per quanto si basasse su un mondo di gioco ben studiato, anche se riprodotto in maniera un po’ grezza, questo titolo ha saputo affermarsi grazie alla sua libertà nella gestione dei personaggi e a una difficoltà da non sottovalutare.
