Per chi non lo sapesse, il Romanzo dei Tre Regni scritto da Luo Guanzhong è una tra le quattro grandi opere della letteratura cinese. In questo mastodontico manoscritto vengono presentati nel dettaglio tutti quegli eventi che hanno portato alla caduta della dinastia Han e aperto le porte al periodo definito appunto “dei Tre Regni”. Non ci è voluto quindi molto prima che una giovane Koei traesse ispirazione da quest’opera e la ricreasse sotto forma di videogioco. Oggi, dopo oltre trent’anni di successi e tredici capitoli usciti, la serie sbarca per la seconda volta nel Vecchio continente con Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV, uno strategico old school dalla forte impronta gestionale.
