Dopo la cocente delusione, almeno per quanto ci riguarda, di Dynasty Warriors 9, Omega Force torna a percorrere la strada dei musou con il quarto capitolo della serie Warriors Orochi. Nata su PlayStation 2, come crossover tra Dynasty e Samurai Warriors, questa saga in realtà non ha mai ricevuto grandissimi consensi, soprattutto dagli addetti ai lavori, nonostante la sua originalità nell'unire le meccaniche di due diversi hack ‘n’ slash. Questo tipo di produzione non è una novità per Koei Tecmo; circa un anno fa abbiamo infatti parlato di Warriors All-Stars, titolo non perfetto ma comunque abbondantemente sopra la sufficienza. Warriors Orochi 4 prova a percorrere la stessa strada, tornando alle origini, piuttosto che ripetere l'esperimento poco riuscito dell'open world dell'ultimo Dynasty Warriors. Sarà stata la scelta giusta?
