Dopo più di 20 categorie eccoci giunti a quella che sicuramente attendevate di più: amiche ed amici, giocatori di tutto il mondo, siamo pronti per eleggere il “Game of The Year 2014”! La categoria in questione, la più ricca di nomination di tutte le altre, presenta ben 8 titoli e tutti quanti sono ottimi giochi che potrebbero ambire al tanto agognato premio finale. Che la battaglia abbia inizio!
Destiny non è un titolo esente di difetti, è vero, ma l’ultima opera dei ragazzi di Bungie è uno dei migliori sparatutto in prima persona mai usciti su console e sicuramente uno dei migliori titoli del 2014. La possibilità di esplorare i diversi pianeti presenti nel gioco in compagnia di decine di altri giocatori non ha prezzo!
Guida ai Trofei
Nonostante i problemi iniziali, Assassin’s Creed Unity è stato in grado di mostrare davvero i muscoli delle console di nuova generazione. Migliaia e migliaia di personaggi a schermo, il caos della Rivoluzione Francese e una divertente modalità cooperativa sono tre ottime frecce al proprio arco per ambire alla vittoria del titolo!
Crudo, cattivo più che mai e enorme, Dark Souls II è sicuramente l’opera omnia di From Software. Il gioco ha letteralmente stregato grazie alla sua “lore” tutti i giocatori più attenti. La cura per i dettagli riposta dagli sviluppatori per affinare un gameplay già solido di suo e per una trama tutta da scoprire è semplicemente da applausi.
Guida ai Trofei
Un altro FPS, un altro titolo “Made in Ubisoft”. Far Cry 4 doveva essere semplicemente un “more of the same” di quanto visto già in Far Cry 3 e invece ha dimostrato di avere ancora qualcosa in più. Enorme, divertente e con una cura grafica sorprendete, merita di essere senza remora alcuna all’interno di queste nomination!

Il ritorno di Mikami e dell’horror “vecchia scuola” non poteva lasciare indifferenti i più. The Evil Within è un titolo validissimo, magari outsider della categoria, ma l’avventura del detective Castellanos ha finalmente riportato in auge un genere da troppo tempo sepolto dall’ombra degli “ibridi” action.

Tutti i fan del Signore degli Anelli hanno finalmente trovato il proprio gioco perfetto. I ragazzi di Monolith sono riusciti nell’impresa non semplice di mescolare meccaniche da diversi titoli e, al contempo, dare un’identità ben definita ad un titolo che sembrava segnato al fallimento e che ora, invece, ritroviamo a combattere tra i migliori dell’anno. Il bello dei videogiochi è anche questo!

Poetico e leggiadro sono due dei tanti aggettivi positivi che si potrebbero attribuire a Child of Light, splendida opera edita da Ubisoft, la software house da cui ti aspetteresti di tutto meno che queste “poesie”. L’avventura di Aurora intenta a salvare i Lemuriani da una terribile minaccia è sicuramente una delle più belle uscite nel 2014!

Chiudiamo così come abbiamo aperto i nostri PlayStation Bit Awards: Dragon Age: Inquisition, terza incarnazione della saga, è un titolo enorme e pieno zeppo di cose da fare, in grado di segnare il ritorno in grande stile di Bioware, software house che ha superato in grande un periodo di “stanca” fisiologico dopo aver sfornato, per anni, solo titoloni. Drago Age: Inquisition è, infine, un serissimo candidato alla vittoria finale!
Cari utenti, speriamo che l’enorme lavoro fatto sia stato di vostro gradimento. Siamo pienamente consapevoli di essere usciti con un po’ di ritardo rispetto ad altre testate, tentando di offrirvi il miglior servizio possibile e speriamo che ne sia valsa la pena. Come molti han già fatto, mi unisco ai complimenti per l’ottimo lavoro svolto per questa sessione di PlayStation Bit Awards, che sono veramente realizzati alla grande sia graficamente che per quanto concerne i contenuti. Ci voleva solo un po’ più di Isaac per essere veramente perfetti, ma tant’è, ci si accontenta 😛
Se Far Cry batte Wolfenstein nella categoria FPS siamo delle persone brutte. Stefano, visto che so più o meno per certo a differenza degli altri che non hai giocato né uno ne l’altro, vota Wolfenstein, va, chettefrega tanto! ahahah ;D
